In our lives we tend to forget about spending time with God. I know I do. But what always brings me back to him is worship. Anytime, it really doesn't matter where I am, if I'm listening to worship music the Holy Spirit is there. I've been in school listening and out of nowhere I just wanna cry. Let me tell you it is an awesome feeling. Just knowing that God will show up anytime, the perfect time. But why do we worship? "I will praise the Lord, who counsels me; even at night my heart instructs me. I have set the Lord always before me. Because he is at my right hand, I will not be shaken. Therefore my heart is glad and my tongue rejoices; my body also will rest secure, because you will not abandon me to the grave, nor will you let your Holy One see decay. You have made know to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand." Psalms 16: 8-11. We praise God because, for one thing, he will never leave us. Also because he paid the ultimate price so we can live. "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith-and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God- not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are Gods workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us." Ephesians 2: 8-10. Now that, my friends is another amazingly-awesome reason we worship God. I encourage you to into a time of worship. It shouldn't be a chore, make it from the heart. Really try to close the gap left in between you and God. Because he loves to spend time with you. Here is a song, just listen to the words and worship.
